What is Cera Bellina?
It is a hydrophilic (water loving) derivative of Beeswax with excellent oil-gelling and oil retention capabilities, which is particularly useful when wanting to thicken oils or turn them into a gel-like texture. It is the perfect addition to help make oil serums.
It can be used in virtually all products, including lotions, creams, balms and oils. It also helps reduce grainy effects that can occur in anhydrous products, particularly when butters such as Shea Butter are used. It also enhances product stability, acting as a low-grade emulsifier to help prevent separation.

How to use Cera Bellina
Use between 1-2% for creams and lotions, and up to 20% for body butters, lotion bars, and balms. It cannot be dissolved in water as it is fat soluble.

How is Cera Bellina made?
It is a derivative of natural Beeswax in which the free acids have been converted to polyglycerols esters, through the use of heat and vacuum.
