This wonderfully relaxing and balancing essential oil of Geranium is known for its healing effects on the skin.

It is used to soothe dry skin, reduce cellulite through massage and even to help clear the complexions of those with naturally oily skin.

Geranium also improves the skin's elasticity and helps to balance the skin's sebum levels.

The popular and attractive Geranium plant can be found round most of Europe, however this variety is from one of the best sources in Egypt.

Characteristics
This wonderful oil has a Rose and Apple like scent characteristic of Geranium. The oil is very heavy and sweet with minty overtones.

Oils to Blend with
Blends with virtually every other essential oil but favourites have to be bergamot, lavender, basil, rosemary, black pepper, rose, neroli, sandalwood, rosewood, juniper, lemon, patchouli, jasmine and orange.

Extraction Method
The essential oil is steam distilled from the flowers, leaves and stalks

Chemical Constituents
Geranic (Acid), Geraniol, Citronellol, Linalool, Myrtenol, Terpineol (Alcohols), Citral (Aldehyde), Methone (Ketone), Eugeneol (Phenol), Sabinene (Terpene).

As with all essential oils we do not recommend using Geranium during pregnancy, especially as it regulates the hormonal system.
