Lime Essential Oil

This piercing citrus oil can help stimulate and refresh a tired mind and lighten your mood. It is used to fight cellulite and to tone the skin in general.

Lime oil is useful to cool fevers associated with colds, sore throats and flu and aids the immune system while easing coughs, bronchitis and sinusitis, as well as helping asthma.

It can be helpful for arthritis, rheumatism and poor circulation, as well as for obesity and cellulite and has an astringent and toning action to clear oily skin and acne, and also helps with herpes, insect bites and cuts.

Characteristics
Sharp and bitter sweet with green top notes and citrousy undertones.

Oils to Blend with
Blends well with other citrus oils and also with neroli, lavender, geranium, ylang ylang, rosemary cypress and rosewood. Blended with Ylang Ylang is one of our favourite combinations. This oil goes especially well with our Organic Coconut Aroma for a lush tropical scent.
