We think German Chamomile is the King of healing essential oils.

It comes from the daisy family and the essential oil is a blue viscous ink.

This German chamomile is the 100% pure essential oil and has the strongest anti-inflammatory compounds of any therapeutic essential oil yet is extremely gentle in use. It’s excellent for pain and stress relief, healing wounds and soothing arthritic / rheumatic inflammations. It's also good for children and is non-irritating. 

It can be a miracle worker in calming red, dry and irritated skin, as well as calming allergies, eczema, psoriasis and all other flaky skin problems. It also has a calming effect on the mind and body so can be used in aiding sleep.

German Chamomile is often used as a home inhalation remedy for respiratory tract inflammation and infections.

Characteristics
It has a very intense odour but when diluted into blends most people like it. There are strong sweet, green and herbal top notes with a slightly fruity and bitter undertone.

Oils to Blend with
Most floral, citrus and herbal essential oils blend well with German Chamomile, including Patchouli, Frankincense and Petitgrain.
