Add a touch of glamour to your lip balms with this lovely Strawberry Pearlescent Colour!
This natural, safe and non-toxic strawberry colour produces a beautiful shimmering and glittering effect and is ideal for colouring lip balms, glosses, lipsticks, make-up and creams. It also works well for solid soaps and fizzy bath bombs. You can even use it for liquid soap but, as with all powdered pigments, they will sink to the bottom if the consistency is not thick enough. They don't, however, stick to bath surfaces.
When used in solid soaps it produces a lovely, semi-transparent effect. The Pearlescent Pigment consists of Mica (an earth mineral), which is blended with Titanium Dioxide. To use in liquid products or creams, add the Pearlescent Colour to 1-2 tbsps of Glycerine and mix well to form a paste; then add the paste to the ready-made liquid product.
To use in solid products/lip balms, use the same method but add the paste while the mixture is still liquid.
This Pearlescent Colour is natural and inorganic and has gone through high temperature bonding processes. Although it is pearlescent in effect, it's not derived from mussels or pearl and is totally vegan.
Dosage: You can add 1-3 measured 2ml spoons (2ml-6ml) of this colour powder to 10ml of lip balm. The more you add, the more it will colour your lips!
