Taking the hassle out of making your own lip balms with this fully certified ready-made, 100% Organic lip balm base - with added Tangerine essential oil.

What To Do

Just melt the base in a glass bowl or jug in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water until liquid. Give it a good whisk as the natural aroma can sometimes separate from the mixture. Either use the jug to pour into lip balm pots or use pipettes to transfer into lip balm tubes.

Please note that as this lip balm base is fully certified, if you add nothing to the mixture, you don't have to certify the lip balms you make out of it in order to sell them, as they will be covered by our certificate!

Like all our products, this lip balm base is made of 100% natural, nourishing ingredients of Organic Yellow Beeswax, Organic, unrefined Shea Nut & Cocoa Butter and Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, which soothe and moisturise your lips without irritating them. Our lip balm moisturises your lips and stays on. Plus a little goes a long way!

Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Shea Butter - This unrefined butter which is made from the West African Shea nut is an excellent skin conditioner and nourishes the skin with Vitamins A, E and F. It heals, protects and soothes rough, dry or chapped lips, and sinks in easily.

Organic Apricot Kernel Oil - This oil has rejuvenating and protecting qualities, and is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B17 and E.

Organic Yellow Beeswax - An unrefined, unbleached natural wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs, beeswax creates a protective barrier over the lips which helps the lip balm to stay on. It is also a hydrating ingredient in its own right.

Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Cocoa Butter - Extracted from the cocoa bean, cocoa butter is an emollient that softens, heals and protects chapped skin. It is also high in antioxidants and helps to retain moisture (and gives the lip balm the sweet, decadent, 'creamy' texture).

Tangerine Essential Oil - This zesty essential oil is distilled from real Tangerines and gives the balm a wonderful smell & taste.
