This package is totally independent, which means the producer is free to purchase ingredients from any UK or EU supplier without limitations.
This safety assessment will be carried out by our consultant chemist, who has been formulating natural cosmetics for over a decade.
Expert advice on start-up issues such as cosmetic labelling and putting together your Product Information Pack is included with all our safety assessments.
This assessment allows you to formulate your own balms using any combination of the below ingredients, which can then be sold legally in the UK and EU.

The above ingredients can be combined in any way you choose to make your own basic recipe. You can then add any of the ingredients below to make your entire range of different products. We specify how much of each ingredient can be used so that any combination of ingredients from our assessment will be totally safe and automatically certified. Titanium dioxide (natural sunscreen)
All our flavours (Or any lip balm flavour from a UK supplier) Essential Oils – from our comprehensive list which includes all popular oils.
Botanicals – a wide variety of dry ingredients including herbs, spices, citrus peels, flower petals and buds which can be used to make your own oil based macerations.
Note - Botanicals should not be included in salt scrubs or other oil-containing products that are likely to be used in the bath or shower and where water is likely to be introduced into the product. Macerated oils are of course fine to use. (Bath salts are allowed to contain botanicals as they contain no oil).
Other miscellaneous ingredients – e.g. honey, glycerin, witchazel, coffee, oats and lots more.
