This natural lip balm has the addition of Titanium Dioxide, a natural sunscreen, to keep your lips safe from the sun. It also contains Pearlescent Strawberry Colour to give your lips a lovely shimmery pink colour and Organic Raspberry extract to keep it smelling sweet.

This lip balm comes in a cute yet handy 7ml lip balm tin which you can slide open and shut with one hand.

Like all our products, this fully certified lip balm is made of natural, nourishing ingredients such as Organic Yellow Beeswax, Organic, unrefined Shea Nut & Cocoa Butter and Sweet Almond Oil, which soothe and moisturise your lips without irritating them.

This lip balm will give you a high sun protection - roughly SPF 30-40. Apply liberally throughout the day.

We have steered clear of synthetic wax, petroleum jelly and synthetic fragrances which are in many commercial lip balms and are no good for your lips. Did you know that Vaseline just creates a greasy barrier over your lips and doesn’t actually moisturise them at all? This explains why it slides off easily. Our lip balm moisturises your lips and stays on. Plus a little goes a long way!

The Shea and Cocoa butter in these lip balms are unrefined and Fairtrade - made by hand by women in Ghana under a Fairtrade cooperative. Shea butter is also a natural protectant from the UV rays of the sun.

INGREDIENTS:

Sweet Almond Oil - Sweet almond oil is cold pressed from the almond itself and has conditioning, emollient, softening and smoothing qualities.

Microfine Titanium Dioxide - Microfine Titanium Dioxide is accepted as a safe sun barrier all around the world. This is because it is inorganic and has a record of having no adverse reactions to it.

Strawberry Pearlescent Mica Colour - This natural, safe and non-toxic strawberry colour produces a beautiful shimmering and glittering effect on the lips. The Pearlescent pigment consists of Mica (an earth mineral), which is blended with Titanium Dioxide (a natural sunscreen).

Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Shea Butter - This unrefined butter which is made from the West African Shea nut is an excellent skin conditioner and nourishes the skin with Vitamins A, E and F. It heals, protects and soothes rough, dry or chapped lips, and sinks in easily.

Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Cocoa Butter - An outstanding nut fat which is extracted from the cocoa bean, cocoa butter is an emollient that softens, heals and protects chapped skin. It is also high in antioxidants and helps to retain moisture (and gives the lip balm the sweet, decadent, 'creamy' texture).

Organic Yellow Beeswax- A natural, unrefined, unbleached wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs, beeswax creates a protective barrier over the lips which helps the lip balm to stay on. It is also a hydrating ingredient in its own right.

Organic Raspberry Aroma - This fruity aroma contains real organic raspberry extract.
